Empire Upgrading Corellian Communications Network

Communications satellite over Corellia

CORELLIAN SYSTEM - Drawing on Galactic resources, the Empire has decided to upgrade the communications network of the Corellian system, temporarily making the system unavailable to outside communications.

Demonstrating the Emperor's benevolence to other Core World systems, the administration on Coruscant has authorized the Communications division of the Support Service Branch of the Imperial Navy to upgrade the communications network systems in the Corellian system.

While the upgrades happen, Corellia will be unavailable to direct communications to the outside galaxy, with the only communications being routed through the military channels of the Imperial Navy.

The naval units under Moff Mikael Hasselstein assure the galaxy that all is well with Corellia during this brief period of inconvenience and assure both Corellians and their associates elsewhere in the galaxy that communications normalcy will be reinstated in due course. In the meantime, the military channels are being used to ensure the safety of the system from the threat posed by the Rebel forces of Admiral Theia.

Theia and her terrorist minions have posed an insignificant threat to the peace and security of the Corellian sector, but are projected to soon be rooted out as loyal subjects of the Empire inform the military authorities of the whereabouts of sundry Rebel cells operating within the sector. During the period of constrained communications, civilians are permitted to use military channels to inform the military authorities of Rebel activity and to continue to inform themselves over HNN's broadcasting networks.

Imperial Commanders Engage in Virtuous Competition, While Rebels Squabble

A rebel corvette breaks up in orbit of Ord Mantell, as it falls victim to an attack by a rival Revel faction.

ORD MANTELL - The Rebels' infighting continues to doom the Rebels and criminal syndicates' hold on the Bright Jewel system. Meanwhile, the Emperor has allowed the Imperial Navy commanders to compete for command of the system.

Demonstrating His most enlightened military policy, the Emperor is allowing Imperial commanders to compete with one another. The most capable admiral shall be allowed the honor of being the final word in the system's administration and authority to direct Imperial forces in the region. Commodore Charis Naboobo of the Colundra Sector in the Outer Rim and Lord Xenos II, also from the Outer Rim are favorites to win the contest. Promotion to command over a Mid Rim system is likely to be a great advancement for either commander.

The Rebels and criminal syndicates, on the other hand, have made their unruliness manifest, by continuing to skirmish among one another, even as the Empire asserts order on the wayward system. Particularly the heinous Admiral Theia is seeking to replace Shmitty the Dataslicer as the dominant crime lord in the Bright Jewel sector, just as Canth Walden attempts to salvage his reputation on the back of another Rebel warlord.

Empire Brings Several Rebel and Criminal Fleets to Heel; Rebels Continue Skirmish Among Themselves

Victory II-class Star Destroyers under the command of Lord Xenos II over Ord Mantell

ORD MANTELL - The Imperial Navy continues to press its advantage over the Rebels and criminal syndicates of the Bright Jewel system. while some Rebel-flagged smuggler fleets escaped the Imperial nets, two condemnable Rebel warlords fought among one another for dominance in infamy.

The most notable victory was Lord Xenos II's destruction of Shmitty the Dataslicer's fleet of Hammerhead corvettes. This criminal mastermind has been taught a lesson for allying his syndicate with the hapless Rebellion.

Lord Xenos' exploit was more notable for having been accomplished with a line of older vessels, including two Victory-class Star Destroyers and two Arquitens cruiser, supported by a flotilla of Gozanti transports. Hailing from the Outer Rim, Lord Xenos has demonstrated the ingenuity to which Outer Rim commanders have shown in their efforts to bring crime and insurrection under control.

Another Imperial commander of the Outer Rim, Commodore Charis Naboobo of the Colundra Sector, led his fleet from the bridge of a mighty Imperial-class Star Destroyer, from where he supervised the destruction of a rebel fleet belonging to the Rebel faction led by rogue senator Mon Mothma.

Unfortunately, a few other fleet of Hammerhead corvettes was able to slip past Imperial lines. The local Imperial authorities are confident, however, that they will inevitable be caught and brought to Imperial justice.

Meanwhile, the Rebel forces of Canth Walden encountered a rival Rebel Warlord, the savage Admiral Theia, whose bloodthirsty atrocities are infamous in the Core Worlds and Outer Rim alike. According to intelligence reports, Theia proved to be the slightly more heinous of the two, and shall be challenging the crime lord Shmitty for his hegemony among the Bright Jewel syndicates.

Rebel Factions Fractured Over Ord Mantell

Ord Mantell, capital world of the Bright Jewel sector, is a known shadow port

ORD MANTELL - Hostilities erupted in the Bright Jewel sector this morning, as Imperial Navy formations emerged over Ord Mantell in an operation aimed at bringing law and order to this chaotic sector of the spinward Mid Rim. Predictabily, internecine squabbles divided separate Rebel and criminal factions, while Imperial officers imposed discipline on their juniors.

Taking an already crime-ridden world in the Mid Rim by surprise, the Imperial Navy emerged out of hyperspace over Ord Mantell in the Bright Jewel sector. Typical of the fractious Rebels in the region, different factions chose to train their turbolasers on one another than the Imperial lines of battle.

Canth Walden, a notorious rebel warlord, who was driven from the Corellian Sector some months ago, was identified as one of the Rebel factions over Ord Mantell. His first act was to narrowly drive a rival Rebel warlord from Ord Mantell's orbit.

Meanwhile, Lord Xenos II, an Imperial commander of the far north of the Outer Rim, brought swift discipline to a junior Imperial officer whose line of vessels proved to be insufficiently prepared to bring Imperial justice to the Rebellion. The result of this was hailed as a victory for Imperial discipline and good order.

Disturbingly, one fleet of Hammerhead corvettes opened fire on an Imperial line attempting to inspect the vessels for contraband. The hammerheads, suspected to belong to a criminal dealer in arcane data, only known as Shmitty the Dataslicer, was able to outmaneuver the Imperial line, and escape Imperial justice. Lord Xenos has been tasked with bringing the dataslicer to heel.

Ord Mantell is the capital planet of the Bright Jewel system of the eponymous sector at the crossroutes of the Celanon Spur and Entralla Trade Route. A world known as a shadowport for smugglers, crime syndicates, and other alien thugs, is a likely den for different Rebel factions. The Bright Jewel Rebels, whose mutual enmities are frequently greater than their hostility towards the Empire, are considered a mere nuisance for Imperial order.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Moff Mikael Hasselstein of the Corellian Sector

Mikael Hasselstein, Moff of the Corellian sector

CORELLIAN SYSTEM - After months of soothing news silence, Moff Mikael Hasselstein opens up about the challenges and successes of governing the Corellian sector and defeating the Rebellion there.

After a successful career of managing the HoloNet News Group, Hasselstein took on the challenge of governing the Corellian sector and maintaining peace, security and prosperity on this sector of the Core Worlds. Despite some Rebel attempts to instill terror into the peace of mind the citizens of the Corellian sector normally enjoy, Moff Hasselstein is happy to report that the Rebels are being driven from the sector, and its citizens can breathe easy once more.

In order to ease the minds of the Corellian sector's citizens, Moff Hasselstein agreed to an exclusive interview, after many months of maintaining news silence in the sector. Below is a transcript of the interview.

HNN: "Moff Hasselstein, thank you very much for being willing to sit down with us for an interview. It is a great honor for us to interview someone of your exalted station."

MMH: "Oh, please, think nothing of it."

HNN: "First off, can you tell us why there has been a news silence in the Corellian sector for these many months."

MMH: "Of course, of course. As you now know, there has been a little bit of a Rebel insurgency in the sector. The insurgents do what insurgents do. They crow about some small temporary successes that they may have had, and make a gundark out of a midge-fly. That serves to unnerve the citizens, who have a hard time putting the Rebel activities into perspective."

HNN: "So the Rebels did have some successes?"

MMH: "Well, they would certainly call them that. But in perspective, there were some small fleet actions in a few systems. We decided to withdraw a few Imperial flotillas in the interest of not allowing collateral casualties among the citizens."

HNN: "Some might criticize you for not assuming that citizens of the Empire would willingly lay down their lives for the Emperor and galactic pride and security."

MMH: "That is true, and it was taken into account. The Emperor does inspire that sort of feeling among His subjects, but we decided that it simply was not necessary in this case. If they still wish to do so, they may volunteer for the Stormtrooper corps, which is willing to take in able-bodied patriotic citizens."

HNN: "And now, is the sector safe from the insurgency?"

MMH: "Admiral Arno Vross and I recently had some glorious victories over the Rebels, including against the inhuman Admiral Theia, and the traitor Iago Yueh. I also anticipate good news from the Talfaglio system soon. With any luck, they will have learned their lessons, and will have crawled back to the Outer Rim, where their terrorism will not impact fine Core-World Imperial subjects."

HNN: "Well, we rejoice that you have the Corellian sector well in hand. How do you respond to reports of a Rebel insurgency also emerging in the Bright Jewel Sector?"

MMH: "I cannot comment on it before learning more. However, I have faith that our Imperial forces shall be victorious. Any commanders who fail us will be swiftly retired and replaced by more capable officers."

HNN: "Thank you for being willing to speak to us, Lord Hasselstein."

MMH: "Oh thank you for that title, but I am merely a humble servant of the Emperor. It was my pleasure."

War Continues to Rage in Corellian Sector; Imperial Navy Optimistic for Victory

Victorious, the Relentless and Interdictor, vessels of Moff Hasselstein's Sector Group Command, orbit Corellia, defending the world from Rebel incursion

CORELLIA SYSTEM - The forces of the Imperial Navy continue to safeguard the loyal citizens of the Empire in the Corellia system, as Rebel attacks are thwarted and Rebel outposts in the sector continue to be rooted out.

This was another proud day for the Imperial Navy. While courageously defending the sector capital of Corellia from barbaric Rebels under the command of Kiza Bætti, Imperial forces further put additional pressure on Rebel outposts on the Drall, also in the Corellian system, and in the Sacorria system.

The defense of Corellia has broadly been deemed a great victory for the Empire. Inhabitants of the sector's most populous world witnessed the disabling of a Rebel cruiser in their skies, as well as the wreckages of destroyed Rebel fighters raining down on their landscape. Though some losses were bitter, the Empire's loyal citizens can rejoice that the Imperial Navy kept them safe once more.

Meanwhile, as the Rebels attempted in vain to attack the Corellian system's beating heart, a line of Arquitens cruisers continued to seek the elusive Rebel outpost on Drall. According to Imperial Intelligence, the outpost's location will soon be discovered, as the cruiser line was met in orbit by Rebel vessels under the command of the infamous Rebel warlord, Mysh Theia.

At the cost of a single light command cruiser, the newly-minted Commodore Iago Yueh disabled numerous Rebel corvettes. The fighter losses are still being counted, but agents with the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order (COMPNOR) deem the results to be favorable.

By victoriously engaging Theia's forces, Imperial retribution has begun for her countless depredations against decent Imperial citizens. The COMPNOR agents have declared it as no accident that the force was lead by Yueh's flagship, the Hand of Justice, which shall return to Corellia for needed repairs.

The Imperial Navy further anticipates news from Sacorria, where another strike at a suspected Rebel outpost took place.

Imperial Navy Saves Planet Vagran From Rebel Incursion; Other Rebel Formations Detected

Damaged but victorious, Relentless arrives in orbit Corellia for repairs

CORELLIA SYSTEM - Moff Mikael Hasselstein saved Vagran from an attacking Rebel fleet, while other Imperial Navy lines have detected Rebel formations in orbit of Drall and in the Sacorria system.

Anticipating a Rebel attack in the Vagran System, Moff Hasselstein's fleet awaited the arrival of the Rebel formation near the system's single sun. Once Vagran's alert's sounded, the fleet executed a micro-jump to intercept the Rebel marauders.

Once the battle was closed, with the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Relentless in the vanguard, the strategic analysts aboard Moff Hasselstein's flagship Interdictor discovered that they had encountered the fleet of Canth Walden.

Canth Walden is the war criminal responsible for the destruction of the Golan III defense station at Selonia - with all personnel on board - after its unconditional surrender.

Moff Hasselstein revenged those brutally murdered by the criminal Walden, as two of his vessels - Liberty and Walden's flagship Phoenix Home - were disabled, barely able to escape with their backup hyperdrives.

Relentless was grievously damaged, but was able to return to port at Corellia in order to undergo repairs.

Meanwhile, other Rebel formations were detected in the Sacorria system, but even in the Corellian system itself, at Drall, where a Rebel outpost was discovered. At Sacorria, the Rebels were discovered erecting a jamming barrier in order to prevent their and atrocities from being broadcast to the civilized galaxy.

Rebellion Attacks Selonia: Destroys Space Station, All On Board

Exploding space station over Selonia

CORELLIA SYSTEM - The Rebellion attacked populous and peaceful Selonia yesterday. Accepts unconditional surrender of space station, before destroying it with all hands on board.

Shocking the civilized beings of the galaxy, the Rebellion attacked the planet Selonia in the Corellian system yesterday, using a refitted Calamari cruise liner and two medical frigates as their agents of destruction. After the withdrawal of Imperial Navy forces, the space station in orbit of Selonia surrendered itself peacefully and unconditionally, but was unable to save itself from the Rebels' barbarity.

The Imperial Navy learned a hard lesson against not targeting non-combatant vessels, yesterday, as its officers were hesitant to fire on the seemingly civilian and humanitarian targets of a cruise liner and medical vessels. Their hesitation cost them dearly, as the Rebels on board these covertly combat-refitted ships had no such humanitarian reservations. Not only did they fire at the Imperial Navy unprovoked, their true cruelty was only evident after the withdrawal of the Imperial vessels and the surrender of the space station.

Rescued hologram footage, sent by Lt. Commander Avery Andal minutes before the station's destruction, show Andal surrendering the station to the leader of the Rebel force. The Rebel leader was identified as Canth Walden, a disgraced former intelligence specialist. On the footage, Walden is heard promising to spare the lives of the Imperial personnel on board the station. The station was, however, destroyed mere moments after Walden returned to his command ship, not leaving any time or warning for the station's crew and civilian service personnel to disembark.

On Corellia, Moff Mikael Hasselstein expressed his shock to the HNN correspondent.

"I can't believe they would do this!" he said. "This atrocity is beyond any reasonable act of armed conflict."

"The rumors that Admiral Theia is commanding the Rebel campaign must be true."

"Only she would be so dastardly as to bring her Outer-Rim style of bloodlust to this civilized part of the galaxy. She has clearly surrounded herself with similar war criminals, such as this Walden. These ruthless monsters make the likes of Saw Gerrera and Cham Syndulla look downright moderate by comparison."

Hasselstein vowed not to allow the Rebellion to continue their scourge of terror in the Corellian sector, promising to redouble the Naval Group's efforts to bring the Rebellion to a halt.

Imperial Navy Thwarts Rebel Assault on Corellia

Ion cannon Coronet City, Corellia fends off Rebel assault.

CORELLIA SYSTEM - The Imperial Navy fought off a Rebel attempt to spread their terror to Corellia, while also discovering the location of a Rebel base in the Nubian system.

Taking command of the defense of Corellia, Moff Mikael Hasselstein faced down the infamous Admiral Theia, suspected to be the theater commander for the Corellian sector.

Key to the Imperial victory was leading the Rebel fleet into the field of fire from Coronet City's planetary ion cannon. The ion cannon installation crippled a number of Rebel corvettes, including the fleet's flagship carrying Admiral Theia herself.

The citizens of Coronet City and elsewhere on the planet rejoiced as the Navy protected them from the cruel barbarity for which Theia has become renowned.

Patrol of light cruisers over Nubia.

Meanwhile, the Imperial Navy scored another victory when a naval patrol uncovered a Rebel base on Nubia, in the Nubian system. The patrol, made up of a line of light cruisers, faced a number of large Rebel vessels. These had been found skulking in the Nubia system, doubtlessly attempting to protect the Rebel base.

The discovery of the Nubia base makes destruction of the Rebellion in the Corellian sector inevitable. Not only will the Imperial Navy aim to soon dispose of the Rebel presence on that world, but Nubia's own citizens are certain to reject the presence of these vile insurgents in their midst.

News of Corellia and Nubia further coincided with reports of a Rebel naval presence in the space near Selonia, the Corellian system's fourth world. The hope is that the Navy's fledgling commander will be able to hold off the Rebel incursion there.

Benn Gleck: I Was Wrong. The Rebellion is Worse

Senior Outer-Rim Analyst Benn Gleck explains how the Rebellion is more vicious and condemnable than even he had previously fathomed.

HNN Senior Outer Rim Analyst Benn Gleck writes an open letter to HNN readers/watchers/listeners. He explains why the Rebellion is vastly more insidious than even he had imagined.

Dear fellow loyal subjects of the Emperor,

I was wrong.

It is not easy for me to admit that. I have my true-blue human frailties like anyone else (except, of course, the Emperor), but - yes - I was wrong.

I was wrong because I thought that the Rebellion was perhaps misguided, perhaps a little extreme, but I used to think that appealing to reason and galactic spiritedness would eventually make most Rebels see things the Imperial way.

Insurgent Cham Syndulla of Ryloth (top), and terrorist Saw Gerrera of Onderon (bottom)

But with the vicious and inhumane attacks recently being carried out by the infamous likes of Cham Syndulla of Ryloth, Saw Gerrera of Onderon, and Admiral Theia, it's clear that it's just too much.

It's tragic, really.

It's tragic, because once both of the former were patriots fighting the separatist menace alongside the banner of the Republic, led by then-Chancellor Palpatine. It may be that the fanatical influence of the Jedi rubbed off on them. It was, after all, the Jedi who taught these two erstwhile leaders to fight guerrilla insurgencies against the droid army.

While Palpatine's war policies during the Clone War are, of course, beyond reproach - indeed, how could anyone justifiably criticize the one man who's political genius kept the galaxy together? - but we should be sober about some of the side effects.

Most of the blame for the radicalization of these individuals must also be thrown at the feet of the Jedi. Towards the end of the way it became clear that the Jedi were a dangerous death cult, who encouraged this sort of warfare.

It is little wonder that these leaders became radicalized by the Jedi. Constant reinforcement of an ideologically-narrow message, filled with misinformation, which aims to set some people apart from others, can do tremendous harm. When that sort of Bantha fodder is constantly fed to any audience, at some point even the inciter can lose control of the incited.

It is clear, my good audience, that this happened to these one-time good men, who fought the separatist droid army, but eventually fell under the corrupt sway of the Jedi. Now that these men have both savagery from their war experienced, combined with the toxic indoctrination of the Jedi, it is clear that the Empire must purge this sort of individual, and may our fine stormtroopers save us from these extremists.

Charis Naboobo Victor of the Battle of Sy Myrth

Swarms of Rebel-operated Corellian Corvettes before the command tower of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer during the heat of the Battle of Sy Myrth.

SY MYRTH SYSTEM - A large battle took place in the Sy Myrth system of the Jospro sector. The Empire won a hard-fought victory against many infamous Rebel warlords, thanks to the heroics of one of its finest: Commodore Charis Naboobo.

The Battle of Sy Myrth happened in a strategic location along the Triellus Trade Route and the Salin Corridor in the Jospro sector. Holding the Sy Myrth system is considered key to stemming the tide of Rebel incursions, while the campaign for the Tharin Sector continues.

While many Imperial commanders fell to the hateful Rebellion, one Imperial hero stood above all the rest. Commodore Charis Naboobo proved to uniquely capable of holding off some of the Rebellion's abominable leaders, such as the warlord Lyraeus, who has proven to be a scourge against all that is good in the Emperor's galaxy, but in particular in the Calamari Sector, which took months to pacify.

Other Rebel leaders present were the vicious Admiral Theia, whose history of inhumane atrocities make hardened Imperial veterans recoil with revulsion, and the warlord Iskander, who wields a monstrous reign in the Western Reaches of the galaxy.

With the system being barely held in check by Commodore Naboobo - also known as the hero of the Colundra Sector - the Emperor is deemed certain to reward the Commodore with a well-deserved promotion.

Dac Sector Contained Through Stalwart Naval Action

The Imperial Navy stands guard on the edge of Calamari space, containing the Rebellion and disloyal alien species.

RUISTO SYSTEM - Thanks to swift action by the Imperial Navy, the outbreak of lawlessness and Rebellion has been contained to the Dac system, where the alien species - the Quarren and the Mon Calamari - have thrown their destiny in with the treasonous Rebellion.

Employing the 'Motti Doctrine' of more hulls against fewer numbers, the Imperial Navy recently assaulted the Dac system in order to demonstrate the overwhelming capacity of the Imperial Navy and deter any further outbreak by the Rebellion into the more civilized sectors of the galaxy.

Engaging the Rebellion with overwhelming numbers, the Imperial Navy has isolated the Rebellion, as well as their Quarren and Mon Calamari supporters in the Calamari Sector.

The recent action in the Calamari Sector has largely gone unnoticed by the Imperial citizenry, which goes about their daily lives unhampered by the vile treason of the Rebellion. Because of the brave action of the officers, crewers, and pilots of the Imperial Navy, the loyal subjects of the Emperor can sleep easy and put the rough edges of the Outer Rim out of their minds.

Moff Dzon Brennin

Moff Dzon Brennin, architect of the containment policy, has been recalled to Imperial Center on Coruscant with the personal escort of Lord Darth Vader.

The Emperor is rumored to be considering a new position for Moff Brennin, a former Imperial Intelligence officer and hero of the pacification of the Arkanis Sector.

According to Imperial Palace insiders, Moff Brennin is due to be sent to the Unknown Regions in order to establish relations with the various aliens in that uncharted segment of space, and may never be heard from again.

Grand Battle in Dac System: Empire Claims Victory

Imperial Star Destroyers taking the fight to the Rebellion

RUISTO SYSTEM - The Empire pressed the fight for order, justice, and the Imperial Way against the Rebellion and their alien supporters today, nearly capturing the Dac system.

With great feats of bravery, the captains, crews, and pilots of the Imperial Navy fought to restore order and stability back to the Calamari System, which has known months of separatism and alien domination.

Some Imperial commanders, such as Commodores Naboobo and Ma'gi'eo, were awarded accolades from the Emperor for their bravery, others were 'dismissed' for their failures. Meanwhile, some notorious rebels, such as the despicable traitor Phendan Brelan, are being pursued by bounty hunters.

While the Dac system was not fully captured yesterday, Fleet Command is declaring a victory for the Empire on the account of attrition and resources.

"The Rebellion cannot sustain these losses," Admiral Kendal Ozzel, one of the admirals of the fleet, told HNN in an interview. "The Empire has vast resources that the Rebellion simply does not possess. The longer this drags out, the sooner this war will be over."

Back home, civilians are wondering how long the war will continue. With many no longer tuning in their HoloNet viewers to the news, the war in the Outer Rim seems a distant annoyance.

While citizens are encouraged to support the crews, the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order (COMPNOR) assures the Empire's loyal subjects that progress towards bringing the Calamari separatists to heel is proceeding apace, and they need not pay attention to details about the war.

Empire Seizes Control of Dac's Neighboring Systems

Crushing defeat of the command vessel belonging to the traitor Captain Phendan Brelan

RUISTO SYSTEM - In a glorious offensive, the Imperial Navy has conquered three systems in the Calamari sector, and now stands on the verge of capturing the Mon Calamari homeworld itself. The Rebellion is projected to be crushed within the coming weeks, driven back into the shadows after it loses the shipyard facilities in the Dac system.

Despite early setbacks in the Reginard system the day before, the Empire's star destroyers destroyed nearly all resistance before it, as it captured both Reginard and Ruisto, taking control of the Overic Griplink hyperroute.

At Reginard, both the notorious warlord Lyraeus and the uterly reprehensible Admiral Theia put up a defense of the system. The following day, Lyraeus appeared to have quit the field of battle, leaving Theia to hold Reginard on her own. In this she proved unsuccessful as one Imperial line drove her from Reginard and another from Ruisto. In a desperate attempt to save her infamous status within the ranks of the rebellion, she attacked her own Rebel cohorts.

Behind the front lines in the Dellalt system, meanwhile, several Imperial lines skirmished with one another during maneuvering and firing drills. The recent hard-won victories there provided the commanders, crews and pilots with ample amounts of debris fields in order to offer them challenges and prepare them for more combat.

A more stalwart resistance was put up by another Rebel commander - a vile traitor to the Empire. Line Captain Phendan Brelan was once considered a courageous and skillful wing commander in the Imperial Navy before his fall from grace. Now he suffers the hatred of millions of former comrades-in-arms and the disdain of billions of loyal Imperial citizens. He paid for his betrayal early when he was driven from Ruisto. In his cowardly flight from the front line, he fled through the Dac system to the Minntooine system. Regrettably his arrival there gave a momentary pause to another Imperial naval assault along the Giblim Route into the Calamari sector.

Fortunately, Captain Brelan's efforts proved to be futile in the face of the unstoppable Imperial advance as other Imperial commanders destroyed Brelan's Rebel confederates. The Rebel resistance was crushed on Minntooine, liberating it from their anarchic scourge. Among these was Commodore Naboobo, the hero of the Colundra system, who had routed a disorderly band of rebels.

Meanwhile, the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) reports of internecine skirmishes behind rebel lines. This is doubtlessly the effect of military losses triggering a power struggle within rebel ranks. The galaxy will breathe a sigh of relief when the Rebel menace has been lifted from the Outer Rim, and their alien cohorts brought under subjugation.

Imperial Navy Makes Gains Towards Calamari Sector

The Imperial-class star destroyer Pains of Justice exacts the Emperor's vengeance in the Codru system.

CODRU SYSTEM - The Empire is another step closer to crushing the Rebellion bottled up in the Calamari sector, as Munto Codru, along the Overic Griplink, is liberated from the Rebels and their Mon Calamari supporters.

In battles above the planets Turkana and Munto Codru, the Empire proved their mettle against the Rebellion that would tear galactic civilization apart.

After painful battles over the same systems last month, the Empire brought both justice and vengeance to the Rebellion today, dislodging Rebel control over the Turkana system, and wresting it away from the Rebellion in the Codru system.

In particular a line of vessels from the Grim Justice squadron, did great service for Imperial humanity. First defeating one Rebel line in the Turkana system before it drove further into Rebel-held territory, where it took control.

The commander of the line, an enigmatic leader known as Ma'gi'eo, was promptly promoted by Moff Dzon Brennin, overall commander of the effort to bring the Calamari to heel. The newly-promoted Commodore Ma'gi'eo shall command the Grim Justice, and be part of the effort of returning the galaxy to peace and stability, while also bringing the Emperor's justice to the traitors of the Rebel Alliance.

The Turkana system remains contested, as Rebels vessels under the leadership of the infamous Admiral Theia have ensconced themselves in an asteroid belt in the outskirts of the system.

Rebellion and Wanton Piracy on the Overic Griplink

The Victory-class star destroyer Redoubtable evacuates women and children from the transfer station in the Munto Codru system.

PAKUUNI SYSTEM - Imperial Navy Sector Headquarters in the Pakuuni system is reporting the successful humanitarian evacuation of a space station in the Munto Codru system, while different rebel warlords and factions jockey for power along the Overic Griplink.

Hostilities began when a pirate band of civilian-seeming small spacecraft ambushed an Imperial vanguard formation in the Reginard system. Meanwhile in the Munto Codru system, an Imperial line arrived at a transfer station in order to assist a pair of Victory-class star destroyers evacuate human children from the space station. Tragically, these star destroyers were part of a cynical ambush, as they proved to be crewed by traitors when they fired on the relief line.

It was at that time that Imperial Intelligence learned of vicious internecine warring between different Rebel factions, while Imperial lines engaged in training maneuvers in the Turkana system. The ships engaged in training maneuvers were quickly reassigned and ordered to answer the distress call at the transfer station in Munto Codru. While engaged in the emergency evacuation, the pirates reported in the Reginard system arrived at the Munto Codru transfer station. While two vessels were lost, the Victory-class Star Destroyer Redoubtable was able to evacuate the women and children aboard that station, courageously bringing refugees on board, while the armed freighters attempted to attack the Redoubtable.

It shocks the loyal conscience that these Rebels and pirates would wantonly attack a humanitarian relief vessel with such brutality. To great rejoicing of the evacuees, the Redoubtable was able to fulfill its mission and bring the child refugees from the Calamari Sector safe to Turkana, despite having a near encounter with the false-flag star destroyers that had attacked the previous rescue mission.

According to transponder records, the Victory-class star destroyers seen to be attacking loyal Imperial Navy forces are believed vessels lost to none other than the murderous Admiral Theia.

As the Redoubtable made the jump to hyperspace, avoiding the false-flag star destroyers, the false destroyers appeared to be under attack by Nebulon-B frigates known to be loyal to the vile Warlord Lyraeus.

Lyraeus, as bloodthirsty rebel a rebel as known to Imperial Intelligence, has proven to be so ambitious for carving out an autonomous fiefdom on the Outer Rim that his forces have more often than not attacked other rebel formations. Yet, as this battle between Rebel factions took place, the withdrawing vanguard line had returned to the Turkana system for repairs, when it was attacked by a rebel line in the Turkana system itself. The withdrawing line managed to make the jump to lightspeed, yet this unfortunately left Turkana in Rebel hands.

This occupation, while clearly a danger to the peoples of the Turkana system, their reign of terror is not imagined to last, as the Rebel units continue to fight among one another for their petty fiefdoms.

Imperial Navy Drives Towards Mon Calamari Homeworld, Seizing Turkana

Theia's fleet of Corellian corvettes attempting to attack a civilian convoy in the Shaylin system.

TURKANA SYSTEM - The Imperial Navy struck a strong blow for galactic peace and stability today, destroying the Rebel presence in the Turkana system.

The Imperial Navy made a powerful advance towards the Calamari sector today. In the Turkana system, the vanguard battle line encountered stiff resistance from the forces of the abominable warlord Lyraeus. These were driven to retreat back to the Shaylin system. There, rebel privateers commanded by the infamous Admiral Theia attempted to attack a civilian convoy evacuating innocent civilians, but were halted by another Imperial attack line.

Admiral Theia is a ruthless war criminal, responsible for the mass killing of human civilians aboard an orbital station in the Ryndellia system nearly seven months ago. While cynically claiming to have an interest in protecting human life, the attack vector of her flotilla of corvette was unmistakable. Unfortunately for the war criminal, the convoy she had targeted proved to be an Imperial attack line commanded by none other than Admiral Screed.

Having routed Theia's forces, Admiral Screed pushed on towards Turkana. There he encountered the forces of the warlord Lyraeus, attempting to ensconce his assault frigates near a dangerous asteroid field. Lyraeus' bloodthirstiness proved to be a liability when his frigates were flanked by two Victory-class star destroyers under Admiral Screed's command. Lyraeus' forces quickly engaged the hyperdrive, imprudently driving deeper into territory reclaimed by the Empire.

With Admiral Screed's forces saving the forward momentum towards the Mon Calamari homeworld, Lyraeus and Theia managed to regroup at the Shaylin system. Rather than joining forces against the Empire, these two rivals for dominance within the Rebel ranks set upon eachother, as Theia's forces ambushed those belonging to Lyraeus.

Having captured the Turkana system, the Imperial Navy expects to suppress rebel activity in the Shaylin system, while moving on to Munto Codru system and ever closer to victory over the vicious and fractious Rebellion.

Imperial Navy Liberates Caluula System, Mon Calamari Declare for Rebellion

An Imperial fleet takes control of a space station in the Caluula system

CALUULA SYSTEM - After a series of hard-won naval battles, the Empire takes control over the Caluula system. Plans for the blockade and pacification of the Calamari sector are on schedule to proceed.

After much preparation in wargames between Imperial line commanders, the Caluula system - a strategic system connecting the Calamari sector to civilized space - was liberated from Rebel control by Imperial Navy. Meanwhile, various Rebel warlords came to blows with one another over control of petty personal fiefdoms in local systems.

Primary responsibility for the victory lay with Lord Darth Vader himself, who assumed command of the operation to retake the critical system. Initially leading and flying escort for the Pakuuni sector TIE Bomber Wing, Lord Vader took command of the final battle from the bridge of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Overlord.

Aside from Rebel fractiousness, the victory at Caluula is also said to be the result of a campaign of distraction, ordered by Lord Vader. Rebel fleet elements were lured into neighboring systems, distracting them from Caluula's defense. The Rebellion was eager to prevent Imperial Navy elements from bringing humanitarian aid to local citizens, and attempts at providing such humanitarian aid was used as an enticement to draw out the Rebel forces.

Imperial commanders were quick to add that the humanitarian aid was their primary mission, and any drawing out of Rebel units was nothing more than a side benefit.

In the final battle for Caluula, Lord Vader's ship, the Overlord led a battlegroup of Gladiator-class star destroyers and one Raider-class corvette to secure a space station near the primary hyperspace transfer point. By the time Lord Vader's battle group arrived, the station was only protected by a refurbished Calamari luxury liner refitted with turbolasers.

The presence of the refitted Calamari luxury liner is being taken as evidence that the Mon Calamari have thrown in their lot with the Rebellion. It was a development expected by Imperial strategists, but one the people's of the Calamari and Quarren homeworld will doubtlessly learn to regret.

While some of the Gladiator-class star destroyers were lost in the battle, the lives of their crews were an honorable sacrifice for the cause of returning peace and stability to the region, and they will ultimately serve the goal of liberating the Calamari sector of their marine-life oppressors of the Dac system.

Imperial Victory Along Pakuuni Drift as Rebellion Fights Among Itself

Rival rebel factions vie for control of systems along the Pakuuni drift.

PAKUUNI SYSTEM - As different rebel warlords fought for primacy along the contested systems along the Pakuuni drift, an Imperial swift attack line struck deep into the heart of Rebel-held territory, destroying the flagship of a major rebel commander.

Along the Pakuuni Drift, a hyperroute connecting the two strategic systems identified by Admiral Ren Darvox as critical for bringing the Rebellion to heel in the Calamari sector, different rebel factions fought for primacy over sundry systems in that portion of the Outer Rim.

Primary among these was a relative of the former Senator of Corellian sector, Garm Bel Iblis. The relative, believed to be a third cousin or second nephew, Shmitt Bel Iblis, defeated several rival rebel commanders to hold the key system of Caluula.

Recently returned from Coruscant, Commodore Naboobo - the hero of the Colundra Sector - took command of a swift attack line, which drove itself towards Caluula, decisively defeating one rebel band in the Mullan system, and setting another to flight in the Brigia system.

Encountering Bel Iblis the Lesser in the Caluula system proper, the forces of Commodore Naboobo managed to destroy the former's command vessel. Commodore Naboobo has withdrawn to the liberated Gbu system awaiting further orders, while probe droids search the wreckage for traces of Shmitt Bel Iblis' remains.

Meanwhile sundry rebel factions did battle for the nearby Dellalt system. Of these, a fleet of Assault Frigates commanded by the infamous Admiral Theia, once the scourge of the Farstine system, in the trailing sectors of the Outer Rim, proved to be even more bloodthirstly than her rebel rivals, among whom the warlord Lyraeus.

According to Imperial strategic analysts, this flurry of internecine conflict is typical of rebel bands as their situation becomes more desperate.

With Imperial forces determined to take Caluula and force a settlement on the Mon Calamari and Quarren of the Dac system, the Rebel cause looks to be desperate indeed.

Farstine Station Liberated; Theia Attacks Other Rebel Faction

GSD Veermok on attack vector towards rebel escort frigate occupying Farstine Station

FARSTINE SYSTEM - After a pitched battle, the rebel forces temporarily occupying Farstine Station have been forced to retreat back to the Ryndellia system. Admiral Theia was attacked by other rebels prior to liberation of Farstine Station

Acting quickly in response to the infamous Admiral Theia's assault on the Farstine Station system yesterday, the Imperial navy has liberated the system from Theia's genocidal tendencies.

Reports from eyewitnesses aboard the station speak of a group of Admiral Theia's forces leaving the Farstine Station system to attack another rebel faction prior to the liberators' arrival. According to strategic analysts debriefing loyal civilians aboard the station, Admiral Theia engaged in an assault on a rival faction using a hyperspace pincer movement, but that her forces were beaten back by the other rebels.

Internecine warring between rebel factions provides further proof that the nihilist Rebellion cannot be trusted with creating a zone of security in the Outer Rim or elsewhere.
