Identities of Coruscant-based Cell Made Public

IMPERIAL CENTER (CORUSCANT) - The Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) has declassified the identities of the band of Rebel fanatics which has attempted to instill terror into the heart of the Empire.

After securing many known associates of the membership of the small Rebel cell operating in Imperial Center, their identities have been disclosed to the public. Further ISB analysis reveals that the cell is highly representative of the species composition and role division within the Rebellion.

Shyla Varad, cell ringleader

According to analysis by the ISB, the ringleader of the band is one Shyla Varad, a Mandalorian female. She is reported to have been originally inspired by the chauvinist Mandaloran terror group known as Death Watch. With Mandalore's infamous history, she seems determined to connect that world's fate to the Rebellion.

Doubtlessly, this Mandalorian's near-human capacities have allowed Varad to become the leader of the terror cell operating on Coruscant.

Alien species benefited from the dynamism of human-led civilization for thousands of years, extracting resources from the Core for the benefit of Outer Rim hinter-space. The Republic, in its misguided benevolence, allowed this regime that only retarded the endogenous development of its beneficiary species. Even now, as these aliens support the Rebellion in order to return to that extractive regime, require human prowess and capacity to lead it.

Ko-Tun Feralo, trafficker

Ko-Tun Feralo, a Cerean female. The ISB has connected Feralo to a string of petty crimes of theft, larceny and smuggling. These are plausibly related to efforts to secure small arms, explosives, and other resources that have supported the Rebels' campaign of terrorism.

Cereans are a technologically backward species of the Mid Rim. Each possessing two small brains and hearts, they are believed to be physiologically incapable of technological advancement of due loyalty to the Emperor or solidarity with a galaxy-wide civilization.

Loku Kanoloa, assassin

Loku Kanoloa, a male Mon Calamari assassin, appears, from captured footage, to be the band's scout and cold-blooded sniper. He is reported to be armed with a long-range blaster rifle, intended to instill terror in innocent civilians by long range murder, frequently targeting a victim's back.

The Mon Calamari, a submarine species from the Outer Rim, whose ship-building technologies were stolen from human engineers, are said to favor such cowardly tactics. This species is also one of the main alien races propping up the Rebellion, doing so in the hopes of overthrowing human-led galactic civilization and a return to a Republic in which these parasite species can benefit from the advances of superior races.

Vinto Hreeda, violent thug

Vinto Hreeda, a Rodian male, is the cell's muscle. Footage of Hreeda's neutralization was made public recently after the cell's thwarted attempt to unleash captured criminals on the unsuspecting public. Owing to the security system's humane blaster settings, Hreeda is suspected to have survived and to have been extracted by the other gang members.

Rodians are a notoriously violent species from the Outer Rim. Having betrayed the Republic for the Separatist cause during the Clone War, they are untrustworthy subjects of the Emperor. Rodians also frequently participate in criminal syndicates. It is suspects that Hreeda is little more than a small-time mercenary, who has been hired by the Rebels for credits rather than any intrinsic rebellious motivation.

This motley band of Rebel criminals are representative of the Rebellion as a whole. Mostly made up of criminal aliens seeking to reinstate their parasitic regime under the Republic, they nevertheless require the leadership of human beings, owing to their superior capacities.

Rebel Terror Cell Fails to Unleash Violent Criminals

Captured footage of one Rebel being neutralized by a detention facility droid.

IMPERIAL CENTER (CORUSCANT) - A small Rebel band of insurgents were thwarted in their attempt to unleash convicted criminals from an Imperial detention facility.

In continued futile attempts to shake Imperial Center's faith in the Emperor, a fugitive band of alien Rebels attempted to release a number of criminals from detention yesterday. Their efforts were easily thwarted by the detention center's automated security systems.

The Rebels' motive was to strike terror in the general public by allowing violent and dangerous criminals to prowl free on Coruscant's streets.

Some wounded Rebels managed to escape capture, but law enforcement is in the process of following their trail in order to bring these would-be insurgent to justice. In order to assist Imperial Center law enforcement, citizens are being asked to provide any information that could lead to the capture of these dangerous individuals.

If encountered, citizens are not to make attempts to capture these insurgents. They are to be considered armed and dangerous, and not to be approached. However, any citizen found to have shot any of these terrorists to incapacitation or death shall be allowed to accept the Emperor's pardon.

In order to keep the public informed, the Imperial Security Bureau is working to compile and declassify profiles of the members of this terror band. They are also said to be apprehending friends and family of these terrorists in order to encourage their cooperation in the band's capture or neutralization.

Admired Admiral Victim of Home Invasion and Abduction: Wife and Children Traumatized

Imperial Navy profile picture of Admiral Danard Gann of the Cassander sector fleet

CASSANDER - Retaliating for a recent spate of defeats, Rebel operatives attacked the family home of Admiral Gann of the Cassander Sector, abducting the admiral in front of his family, aides, and household retainers.

The widely-respected Admiral Danard Gann of the Cassander sector fleet was the target of a home invasion and abduction this evening. With little more to protect himself and his loved ones aside from two economy-grade security droids

The band of Rebel fanatics, recently driven from Coruscant, decided that the safe streets of Imperial Center were too great a challenge, and instead opted for a military man's personal home.

The Rebel band was under the strict and ruthless leadership of a Cerean identified as Ko-Tun Feralo, who put her minions in harm's way for her own infamy and to further traumatize the Admiral's family. The band was further aided by a Togruta female who has been identified as [REDACTED], a former [REDACTED], and [REDACTED]. The Togruta was last imaged being carried out on a stretcher.

Imperial forces were able to come to the family's aid, but not before the heinous damage had been done. Officers with the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) have taken the children into protective custody, where they can be provided with mental healthcare, and reassured that the Emperor's servants will work hard to return their father back to them.

Asked why the Admiral had so few security measures, his courageous wife was able to speak, barely holding her tears in check:

"We didn't think even the Rebellion would attack an off-duty naval admiral in front of his children!" she managed between sobs.

And so this grief-stricken family learns, as do the other loyal citizens of the Empire, precisely how wicked and vicious the Rebellion is.

Thwarted Rebel Attack on Coruscant

The shining ecumenopolis of Coruscant, heart of the Empire, is now in the crosshairs of the Rebellion's vicious designs to sow terror in the souls of the innocent citizens

IMPERIAL CENTER (CORUSCANT) - Vainly attempting to sow terror into the heart of the Empire, Rebel fanatics attack innocent citizens on Coruscant. Loyal Imperial citizens are outraged, and more determined than ever to have the Rebellion put down.

Imperial forces responded swiftly, today, when a small band of Rebel fanatics emerged not far from Coruscant's Alien Protection Zone, and harassed unsuspecting citizens outside of a diner. The local people sighed a breath of relief when the authorities sent in riot-control squads to quell the unrest.

According to Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) agents investigating the defeated Rebel attack, the Rebels were able to do little more than physically assault a few local people.

"When they took my credstick, I thought they were just muggers," one citizen commented. "it wasn't until they asked about another Rebel group that I realized they were terrorists."

According to the ISB, this attack comes on the heels of another similar attack only a few rotations ago, which had not been reported.

"We want to maintain the feeling of security," the ISB agent told HNN, "which means that some things are best kept from the press."

With the Empire ensuring that the only thing Imperial citizens have to fear is fear itself, HNN proudly refuses to publish anything that would shake the trust Imperial citizens have in the Empire. HNN also proudly reports that the previous small-scale incursion was likewise swiftly put down.

The ISB further informed HNN that the tactics employed by the Rebel fanatics serves as further evidence that the Rebellion is in its last throes.

"If the Rebels are forced to gather resources by mugging local passers-by, the end of this insurgency is all but at hand," the agent said, ending the interview.

Effective "Community Policing" on Ord Mantell

Elite stormtrooper, engages in "community policing", enjoying the fruits of winning the hearts and minds of the populace on Ord Mantell

ORD MANTELL - Imperial authorities once again delivered another world from the scourge of the Rebellion's operatives. Responding to a tip from a private concerned citizen, Imperial stormtroopers cleared out a Rebel safehouse on Ord Mantell yesterday.

Responding to positive stormtrooper engagement with the local populace, a concerned citizen on Ord Mantell informed Imperial forces of the presence of a Rebel safehouse yesterday. Imperial forces swiftly descended on the Rebel location, clearing it with requisite force.

While the Rebel cell managed to barely escape, the surrounding populace was satisfied with the stormtroopers' elimination of the Rebel cell in their midst, especially given the minimal collateral casualties.

With the Rebellion increasingly becoming an enemy within the Empire, instead of merely a nuisance at galactic civilization's outskirts in the Outer Rim, Imperial forces have increased their vigilance and engagement with local communities.

Ord Mantell girl tells stormtrooper about parents' questionable conversations in return for candy

The Stormtrooper Corps' new strategy of "community policing" has borne fruit as citizens become more vigilant about the Rebel presence in their midst, and more forthcoming with tip offs to the Imperial authorities. Some loyal citizens have provided stormtrooper patrols with information on their own neighbors.

Especially children are comforted by the friendly presence of storm-troopers seeking to keep them safe from Rebel "meanies".

Children had previously been interrogated with the assistance of droids, same as adults. The new approach, using candy rather than interrogation droids, has proven to be more effective in eliciting useful information about disloyal activities of neighbors, friends, and even family.

"You'd be surprised what you can learn about the neighborhood in return for a Fizzyglug," patrolman TK-621 told HNN. "The bully on the corner was proven to be a Rebel Intelligence officer. Before [NAME REDACTED] narc'd him out to me, I thought he was just some moof-milker."

With the Rebel threat spreading among the galaxy's malcontent population, citizens are eager for an Empire willing to connect with them for the greater good of a peaceful galaxy with quieter streets.

Cornered, Rebel Fugitives Take and Murder Hostages

An elite stormtrooper stands dejected, having failed to save the life of a hostage, a mere child whose sole comfort in her last moments was a stormtrooper doll

ITHOR, OTTEGA SYSTEM - Fugitive Rebels were tracked to Ithor by law-enforcement investigators dispatched by Imperial Intelligence. Cornered, the Rebels took hostages, whom they slaughtered, rather than surrender to the legitimate Imperial authorities.

A ruthless band of Rebel fugitives, last detected in the Ryloth system, were traced to a hideout on Ithor, in the Ottega system, yesterday. When confronted by Imperial Intelligence officers, including a special security assistant to the Emperor, the Rebel fugitives took local hostages. Before the Imperial officers could mount a rescue operation, the Rebels executed the hostages without remorse. While caring for the slain civilians, the special stormtrooper squad was unable to capture the Rebel terrorists.

The Rebels, led by a Twi'lek Jedi cultist identified as one Diala Passil, are believed to have been on Ithor to abduct an Ithorian child for indoctrination into their leader's fanatical cult.

Twi'lek cultist, Diala Passil, murdering Ithorian hostage.

Normally a docile and obedient species, Ithorians are considered peaceful gardeners by much of the galaxy's civilized beings. Clearly, the Rebellion considers them little more than nerf herds to be slaughtered to mask their escape.

Twi'leks, by contrast, have in recent years, proven to be ruthless murderers. Notorious terrorists, like Cham and Hera Syndulla, have been a scourge on the peace-loving Imperial galaxy, and now other members of their species prove to be similarly reprehensible.

Coupling Twi'lek native ferocity, with the Jedi cult's fanaticism, has proven to be a combination shocking to civilized sensibility. However, Passil was far from alone in her depredations. Others in her band of criminal insurgents also involve another cultist - an Ithorian named Murne Rin, incomprehensibly betraying her own kind for her misbegotten religion.

Autonomous Ryloth Descending into Crime and Corruption

Lessu, capital city of Ryloth

LESSU, RYLOTH - Having been granted autonomy from the Empire, Ryloth demonstrates weakening rule of law as thieves and smugglers fail at attempt to steal 'cash' from departing Imperial constabulary.

Yesterday, Imperial stormtroopers thwarted looters from stealing impounded cash, which had been confiscated from a spice trafficker, known as 'Tagg Ronin'. The attempted looting took place at an Imperial impound station, which was on the verge of being dismantled in the process of autonomizing Ryloth.

The attempted looting comes in the background of weakening governing institutions on Ryloth as the Empire hesitantly granted autonomy to Ryloth. Imperial withdrawal began after the Twi'lek people, the denizens of this alien world, voted for autonomy from the Empire, electing the Coruscant real-estate developer Donalo Fortuna planetary governor. Donalo Fortuna, whose brother Bib Fortuna is employed by the Outer Rim crime lord Jabba the Hutt, is considered to be heavily involved with corrupt governance practices.

Under the autonomous governance arrangement, the newly installed Twi'lek legislature voted to dismantle anti-corruption institutions set up by the Empire, signalling that Fortuna's new regime aims to make the most of local autonomy for himself and various cronies.

The Empire is said to be respecting the will of the Twi'lek electorate, but there are worries that criminal cartels, such as that of Jabba the Hutt, and insurrectionist militants led by Cham Syndulla may gain in influence in the Ryloth system and surrounding Gaulus sector. The Lessu looters attempting to steal the contraband were said to have followed Ronin from nearby Tatooine - home of the crime syndicate led by Jabba the Hutt - suggesting a tie to Bib Fortuna.

COMPNOR spokesman Agandist

Prop Agandist, spokesman for the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order (COMPNOR) told HNN reporters that the TWi'lek referendum was regrettable, but the Outer Rim cannot be governed against local sentiment.

"Hopefully, when the Twi'lek people realize that they do not have the capacity for self-governance, they will realize the blessings of Imperial administration. In the meantime, loyal subjects of the Empire in the Core Worlds, such as Corustant, Corellia, and Hosnian Prime continue to enjoy the fruits of good Imperial governance, and impulses to separatism and rebellion are non-existant."

Local Post on Tatooine Prevents Smear Campaign on Darth Vader

Imperial transmission center on Tatooine

TATOOINE SYSTEM - The heroics of the Emperor's Guard and local stormtroopers prevented a Rebel character-assassination plot against Lord Darth Vader.

As the Rebellion grows ever more desperate in its perverse plight to spread lies and disinformation throughout the galaxy, the Rebels have struck a new low in their fake news campaign. Thankfully, they were thwarted in their efforts.

Their attempt came to nought on the Outer Rim world of Tatooine, where a Rebel band attempted to hijack a transmission center in the hopes of transmitting fabricated smears against Lord Darth Vader.

The fallacious "documentary", titled 'Straight Outta Tatooine', involved the preposterous notion that Lord Vader was once a junk yard slave in the Tatooine settlement of Mos Espa who became indoctrinated by two renegade Jedi knights.

Title image from false "documentary" about Lord Darth Vader

Darth Vader, a disabled Clone War veteran and right-hand man to Emperor Palpatine, had previously been targeted by Rebellion-sponsored misinformation.

Unbeknown to the Rebellion, however, Imperial Intelligence had learned of the planned attempt. Two of the Emperor's own Royal Guardsmen were sent to intercept the Rebels, who had been guided to the transmission center by a local vagabond.

The guardsmen, aided by local stormtrooper squad and volunteers from the 501st Stormtrooper Legion, ambushed the Rebel operatives, putting an end to their condemnable attempt to disparage a true hero of the galaxy.

Rebel efforts notwithstanding, Lord Vader remains an inspiration to galactic youth, who see Lord Vader as someone who will help Emperor Palpatine make the Galaxy great again.

Cloud City, Bespin Cleared of Rebel Insurgency

Imperial trouble-shooter, Lord Darth Vader, departs after Cloud City secured

BESPIN SYSTEM - Swift Imperial action purged Cloud City in the Bespin system of insurgent operatives. City rejoices at Imperial intervention

After numerous months, operatives of the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) aided by Imperial stormtroopers, cleared the last remaining rebels from abandoned Tibanna docks. These are believed to have been the Rebels' base of operations during their uprising.

Cloud City breathes a sigh of relief after the Empire has removed the insurgent presence aboard the airborne mining facility. With the threat eliminated, the population is grateful for Imperial administration after years of corruption.

ISB operatives patrolling a Cloud City corridor

The breakthrough came after the arrival of the Emperor's right-hand man, Lord Darth Vader. Lord Vader's arrival is seen as a sign of the Emperor's personal interest in Bespin. Vader, a disabled Clone War veteran, is often described as a 'trouble-shooter' for dealing with Rebel insurgencies and reinvigorating ailing industrial operations.

The benighted mining facility and floating urban metropolis had suffered years of maladministration, a common feature of governance in the Outer Rim Territories. The prior Baron Administrator of Cloud City had come into his post through illicit dealings. Some suspect that policies were determined through wild speculation on games of chance.

Darth Vader declines interview

With the last Rebels having fled Cloud City, Lord Vader is said to have "cut staff in half", promising a more efficient bureaucracy. Furthermore, Vader is said to have introduced "new ways to motivate" the remaining Cloud City administration and workers.

Malcontents claiming the Rebels had extracted vital information, despite Vader's attempts to capture them, were re-educated to understand the folly of their ideas and retrained for employment in the lower decks. In the depths of the city, they will be granted the opportunity to find new purpose in serving their fellow beings of the galaxy.

Rebellion and Thugs Skirmish for Turf in the Coruscant Underworld

Civilian population of Cloud City protests Rebel attack

CORUSCANT (IMPERIAL CENTER) - Imperial Stormtroopers and even Imperial Guardsmen move to quash illegal and subversive combatants in the capital city's underworld.

The lawlessness of the Outer Rim has struck even in the Empire's very heart, as gangs and Rebel insurgents squabble for turf in the underbelly of the Ecumenopolis. Some Rebel factions have even turned their blasters on one another.

According to eye-witnesses, the hostilities within the rebellion represent a rift between the Rebellion's alien faction, and the faction led by religious zealots.

According to an Imperial Security Bureau spokesman, the struggles within the lower orders of Coruscant represents a sign that the Rebellion is closer to final defeat.

"If the Rebellion were gaining ground in the Outer Rim, instead of being crushed by the Imperial Navy, then they would be out in the Outer Rim attempting to hold territory. Instead, they are here in our midst, struggling to capture garbage in Coruscant's gutters."

In addition to Rebel insurgents, some of Coruscant's alien denizens resisted Imperial efforts to impose order on the lower levels. These were mostly aliens recalcitrant to Imperial Center's legitimate alien restrictions, which is why they were found outside of the Alien Protection Zone, colloquially referred to as 'InviSec'.

Thwarted Rebels Strike Terror in Civilian Population Cloud City

Civilian population of Cloud City protests Rebel attack

BESPIN SYSTEM - Rebel operatives, prevented from attacking the administrative control center of Cloud City, turn their blasters on the civilian population in an attempt to sow fear and terror.

Following a Rebel attempt to infiltrate the administrative offices aboard Cloud City, a cell of Rebel insurgents attacked the civilian population.

According to the local Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) authorities, the change of tactics from infiltration and subversion to outright scare tactics and terrorism is a sign that the Rebellion is desperate.

"Militarily impotent, and unable to win the hearts and minds of civilians through their perverted cause, the Rebellion has resorted to rank intimidation and brutality," ISB special agent Blaise told the HNN correspondent aboard Cloud City.

Showing they would not be intimidated by Rebel savagery, Cloud City civilians protested against the Rebel attack, the day after it took place. Cloud City Wing Guards stood guard over the civilians, making sure their protest was not disturbed by further Rebel violence.

"Down with the ... Rebels!" one civilian demonstrator shouted after being reminded by an ISB operative of the proper phrasing of the protest.

"It's evident that the Empire inspires much loyalty here on Cloud City," Agent Blaise added to the correspondent. "It's clear the Imperial assumption over private control is greatly welcomed here."

ISB Thwarts Rebel Infiltration Cloud City, Bespin

Former Administrator-turned traitor Lando Calrissian of Cloud City mining facility on Bespin

BESPIN SYSTEM - Rebel infiltrators were thwarted by a heroic operation conducted by the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB). The Cloud city mining facility remains securely in Imperial control.

Rebel traitors attempted to infiltrate the new Imperial tibanna gas mining facility 'Cloud City' in the Bespin system yesterday. They were led by the former administrator, Lando Calrissian.

Thanks to newly-improved surveillance equipment installed by the ISB, Calrissian and his rebel cohorts were detected and contained by ISB agents, assisted by Imperial Stormtroopers and the local constabulary.

Particularly noteworthy was the leadership of ISB agent Blaise, who managed to corral the rebel infiltrators by expertly calling upon troopers and ISB operatives to surround the Rebels, making their infiltration impossible.

While it has been confirmed that Calrissian fled Bespin, some of his rebel associates are still believed to be at large in Cloud City.

Taking control of the situation, Agent Blaise issued orders to both Imperial and Cloud City security forces to "round up the usual suspects."

Newly-acquired mining facility 'Cloud City' on Bespin in the Anoat sector

Calrissian had previously betrayed the Empire by attempting to return dangerous criminals to the spaceways of the galaxy, where they would be free to continue a scourge of rebellion and narcotics trafficking. Thanks to swift action by Lord Darth Vader and a hired private contractor, Boba Fett, Calrissian was thwarted in his attempt to free the notorious spice mule, Han Solo.

With the failed escape, Solo was sold as a wall decoration to private entrepreneur Jabba the Hutt. Proceeds from the sale are serving the widows and orphans of stormtroopers who died at the Death Star explosion near Yavin IV.

According to sources, Calrissian turned traitor over complaints that he was being 'treated unfairly' in contract negotiations with Lord Vader.

Profile in Courage: General Octavion Sorin

General Octavion Sorin leading his final battle on the planet Hoth

HOTH SYSTEM - In a brilliant and daring strike, General Octavion Sorin of the Imperial Army has crushed the final hopes of a band of Rebel stragglers, and simultaneously proven the value of his SC2-M Repulsor Tank to the Imperial ground assault arsenal.

Following the great Imperial victory over the Rebellion in the Hoth System several months ago, a small band of Rebel stragglers - who had thus far eluded capture - have finally been brought to Imperial justice. Their capture was brilliantly engineered by an Imperial profile in courage: General Octavion Sorin.

General Sorin served alongside Lord Darth Vader and General Maximilian Veers during the original battle of Hoth, when the Rebellion had been discovered on this frigid Outer Rim wasteland. Sorin was put in charge of capturing surviving Rebels.

The pathetic Rebel fugitives had been chased around several worlds along the Ison Corridor before they were forced to return to Hoth in utter desperation. It was there that General Sorin had laid a clever trap for them, and the Rebel refugees for whom they had sought to find shelter.

In the final hour of his campaign, General Sorin demonstrated the devastating power of the SC2-M Repulsor Tank, which proved to be invulnerable to the Rebels' pesky attacks as Sorin's forces cornered the Rebels in the bowels of a starship wreck. It was there - leading the charge - that General Sorin bravely sacrificed his own life so that the Rebel menace would be snuffed out rather than be allowed to threaten the lives of good Imperial subjects throughout the galaxy.

General Sorin's life was taken by a cowardly sniper shot from the Rebels. While the sniper was immediately destroyed by the repulsor tank under Sorin's immediate command, the Empire mourns the loss of one of its finest officers. Despite the tragedy of his death, General Sorin still provides a courageous example that all Imperial citizens should be proud and honored to follow.

Rebel Operatives Shot Down Over Yavin Moon

Imperial AT-ST Scout Walkers, with the assistance of a probe droid, give chase to Rebel fugitives

YAVIN SYSTEM - In protecting the galactic citizenry from anarchy and insurgency, Imperial forces shot down a Rebel transport carrying operatives aimed at procuring contraband for their separatist cause.

Believed to have been driven from the Fest system, the Rebels were tracked to the fourth moon in orbit around the red gas giant Yavin in the Gordian Reach sector of the Outer Rim.

The Rebel agents' vessel, a Lantillian short hauler, was disabled with the assistance of a Mandalorian bounty hunter. Under the direction of Imperial Army officers, the bounty hunters, with support from Army AT-ST Scout Walkers have tracked the Rebel operatives through the jungles of the moon.

Having come under heavy fire by the scout walkers, most of the rebel operatives are believed to be wounded, possibly near death. With the world full of wildlife danger, and no vessels to carry them off-world, the operatives were left for dead.

While carrying out their clandestine and nihilistic activities, the Rebels also viciously killed some of the local wildlife. Several nexus, forms of large felines, were mercilessly slaughtered by the insurgents. If caught, the insurgents may be brought up on charges by the Imperial Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA).

Rebel Outpost Destroyed in Fest System

Captured Rebel facility in the Fest system, prior to destruction by TIE Bomber strikes.

FEST SYSTEM - The Empire struck another blow against the forces of insurrection and lawlessness today, when a Rebel holdout on the planet of Fest was captured by Imperial troopers.

The attack on the Rebel position began with bombing carried out by TIE bombers, followed up by courageous action by Cold Assault stormtroopers, commonly referred to as 'snowtroopers'.

The Rebel outpost had nearly surrendered when a team of Rebel operatives arrived. According to Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) officers embedded with the snowtrooper battalion, the team of operatives arrived just in time in order to silence their former comrades.

The ISB officers disclosed this as a common but cold-blooded tactic used by Rebels to prevent the ISB from engaging in intelligence-gathering interviews with detained Rebel soldiers caught after being defeated in battle.

All the Rebel insurgents are believed to have perished in the collapse of the station after the structure having received critical damage in the TIE bomber attacks, though some are believed to have fallen victim to local wildlife.

Empire in Control of Junkfort Station

Imperial stormtroopers in full control of Junkfort Station

JUNKFORT STATION - In a valiant effort, Imperial forces have taken control of Junkfort Station on the Outer Rim along the Triellus Trade Route. The station is no longer a wretched hive of scum am villainy.

Junkfort Station, formerly a civilian station that had fallen under the control of pirates and smugglers, was liberated by Imperial forces yesterday. The denizens of that station, as well as the world it orbits, can now rest assured that the Empire shall be securing their spacelanes and keeping them safe from illicit contraband and rebel elements.

The Rebellion was proven complicit with the criminal syndicates in control of the station, as one rebel cell attempted to wrest control away from Imperial forces after several squads of stormtrooper engaged in combat drills. While these rebels murdered a number of Imperial stormtroopers, the traitors to the Empire were eventually overwhelmed.

Junkfort Station has become a strategic location on the outer spinward reach of the Slice, where Rebel forces are blockaded in the Calamari sector. The Imperial Navy is conducting regular patrols along the Triellus Trade Route, preventing Rebel vessels from leaving the Calamari sector by way of newly-charted hyperroutes between the Calamari Sector and the Triellus Trade Route.

Empire Removes Rebel Presence from Little-Known Hoth System

Rebels crushed under Imperial AT-AT walkers

HOTH SYSTEM - The Empire, under the personal command of Lord Darth Vader, has destroyed a rebel base in the far flung Hoth system in the Anoat sector of the Outer Rim.

Using probe droids to gather critical intelligence throughout the galaxy, the Empire was able to discover the location of a rebel base on the frozen main planet of the Hoth system. Acting forcefully and with great speed, the Empire quickly destroyed the rebel base, bringing Rebels to swift justice in the process.

During the ground engagement, Imperial walkers (All Terrain Armored and Scout Transports, AT-ATs and AT-STs) were deployed to destroy the Rebel shield generator protecting the planet. Meanwhile, Imperial Navy pilots prevented the escape of Rebel transports attempting to evade arrest and capture. The pathetic Rebel efforts to halt the armored walkers with nothing more than weaponized airspeeders was inconsequential.

Demonstrating their true colors, certain Rebel operatives - reputed to include the traitorous former Senator Leia Organa - decided to save themselves. While the senator fled, the transports attempting to evacuate non-combatants were intercepted and destroyed by TIE Fighters. The dilapidated light freighter carrying the fugitive former senator is believed to have be traced to the nearby Bespin system.

According to casualty reports, the Rebel commander - General Carlist Rieekan - was unavailable for interrogation on the account of being dead. He is believed to have died aboard one of the transports attempting to flee Hoth.

With the Rebel fleet cornered in the Calamari sector and elsewhere suppressed by the might of the Imperial Army, Navy, and Stormtrooper Corps, as well as the loyalty of the Emperor's subjects, the Rebellion has been forced to seek shelter in the most out-of-the-way corners of the galaxy. But even there they cannot be safe from the Empire's long reach of justice.

Rebel Attack in Mos Eisley Shocks Galaxy

Wookiee terrorist engaged in violent assault on Imperial troop quarters

MOS EISLEY (TATOOINE SYSTEM) - The Rebellion attempted to bring violence and lawlessness back to the Arkanis sector yesterday, as it wantonly attacked an Imperial troop barracks in Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine, killing scores of stormtroopers and local denizens as well as the local troop commander.

After months of peace and stability in the Arkanis sector, violence returned to that segment of the Outer Rim, as a cell or rebel extremists attacked an Imperial troop barracks. Numbering several alien beings, including a Wookiee and a Bothan, the rebel cell attacked the barracks with the intent to assassinate the local troop commander.

The troop commander, one Captain Kayn Somos, was a symbol of Imperial benevolence and generosity. Having served as a peacekeeper and drill instructor, Captain Somos was greatly admired by his troops as well as local citizens. Cpt. Somos's reputation as a bridge-builder between the Imperial troop presence and the local citizenry, is deemed to have been the cause of his being targeted.

During the height of the attack, local Tuskens - also called sand people - volunteered to defend Cpt. Somos and his outpost, but these selfless volunteers were brutally cut down by the rebels.

The incident happened after Imperial stormtroopers attempted to arrest a notorious narcotics smuggler, Han Solo, a known associate of Jabba the Hutt and the senator-turned-traitor, Leia Organa. The rebel cell in question was sighted assisting Solo's escape.

Local authorities are on alert and searching for evidence that will lead to the capture of the rebel cell. The cell, believed to consist of a Wookiee male, Bothan male, and human female (the latter doubtlessly acting under alien duress), is considered armed, dangerous and lacking in conscience.

Lord Darth Vader Finds New Ways to Motivate Troops

Lord Vader declines comments to the press

PAKUUNI SYSTEM - Lord Darth Vader takes a personal hand in reviewing and inspiring Imperial stormtroopers. Some found wanting. Vader also led a raid against Rebel insurgents on Turkana after the Imperial Navy secured Turkana's capture.

Lord Darth Vader, special assistant for disciplinary affairs of Emperor Palpatine, has begun an internal review of the stormtrooper corps.

Assisted by a cadre of officers from the Central Committee for Discipline Inspection of the Stormtrooper Corps' Human Resources department, Lord Vader has taken a 'hands-on approach' to the Stormtrooper Corps' operational readiness assessment.

While Lord Vader did not have an opportunity to speak with HNN, one adjutant to Lord Vader, told HNN that while one stormtrooper squad was found wanting in operational readiness, another was found to be quite adequate.

"We're proud of our stormtroopers," Lord Vader's adjutant, Colonel U.S.Eless, told HNN. "This recent squad was quick to respond to Lord Vader's examination, and did so while put under stress by a sustained turbolaser barrage from Lord Vader's own star destroyer, the Devastator

Asked about the squad that did not meet Lord Vader's expectation, Col. Eless assured HNN that this squad would no longer be a problem in the future.

Beyond engaged in an operational readiness review, Lord Vader also made time in his busy schedule to demonstrate skill and inspire morale by personally engaging in a strike against a rebel cell on Turkana. According to Col. Eless, one wookiee and some rebel insurgents were still at large, the rebel cell's leader had been struck down by Lord Vader personally.

Turkana was just recently captured by Imperial Navy forces, liberating both the world and its system from a rebel naval presence. Ground operations are underway to rid the planet of ground based rebel cells.

Theft of Advanced Targeting Computer Prevented

Computer system containing the schematics for the advanced targeting computers to be installed on the new TIE Advanced/x1

CORULAG - Today the rebels were thwarted from stealing schematics for the new advanced targeting computer in a failed raid on the development laboratory of the Sienar Advanced Research Division on Corulag in the Corulus system.

The attempt is suspected to have been triggered by the news today of the imminent deployment of TIE Advanced/x1 superiority fighters to the Arkanis sector. In recent months, the Arkanis sector has devolved into a chaotic region of space and the Rebellion is desperate to prevent their imminent destruction.

The attempt was prevented by swift action by Imperial stormtroopers stationed to guard the sensitive data locked in Sienar's Research Division's development laboratory.

Following the failed raid, the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) quickly surmised the location of the spies' refuge and launched a counter-raid. Five of the rebels were killed. Unfortunately, two of the spies' associates were able to escape their den before the ISB's enforcers were able to secure the location.

The Empire's swift response to this desperate and hopeless attempt to maintain their terrorist insurgency is further evidence that the rebellion will soon be brought to an ignominious demise. Once it has been fully quashed, the galaxy will be able to breathe a collective sigh of relief and return to the peace and stability that only the Empire has proven capable of providing.
