BENN GLECK: Aliens Undermining Empire

Senior Outer-Rim Analyst Benn Gleck identifies the source of the Empire's troubles to maintain law and order on the Outer Rim. Says: "Aliens."

HNN Senior Outer Rim Analyst Benn Gleck writes another open letter to HNN readers/watchers/listeners. He explains why the Imperial Navy is struggling to return control to the Outer Rim.

Dear loyal citizens of the Empire,

I have more to say to you about Aliens.

That's right - I am going to say it, because nobody else has to guts to do it.

The Old Republic failed because of aliens, and the Empire is on the verge of not learning the lessons of the Clone War. The Old Republic allowed political correctness and multi-speciesism to undermine the core values - by which I mean the Core's values - human values.

Those values are what knit civilization together, and created a prosperous galaxy together. But what undermined that galaxy?

You know it: Aliens.

Many people don't remember the history of the Old Republic's darkest time, but I do. It wasn't that long ago that an alien dictator named Huttler tried to take over the galaxy in a historic - even epic - episode of our past called the Huttlocaust.

During the Huttlocaust, humans were enslaved by aliens, forced to do inhuman work in forced camps, and even on Coruscant there was a part of the city called the Human Zone, where Hutts and other aliens would prey on humans - especially women and children.

Core human values had to stand strong against Huttler and his Huttlocaust, and we managed it. But since then we've forgotten the Huttlocaust and I'm here to urge you to remain vigilant.

And vigilance is necessary, dear loyal citizens of the Empire, because the Imperial Navy is falling into the same trap. Look at how they allowed their naval academy datapads to be produced by Bothans.

Do you know where the Bothan homeworld is?

It's near Hutt Space.

Do you know who the Bothans used to be allied to?

That's right: Huttler.

What the aliens want more than anything is a return of the Huttlocaust. It's just written in their DNA to want mastery over humans. Once we understand that and divorce ourselves from anything touching aliens - including cheap imports from alien worlds - the sooner we will defeat the return of Huttler!
